Happy dogs are here again
A TON OF THANKS and sloppy kisses to readers that responded to our post yesterday on the urgent need of funds for New Yorkers for Companion Animals, a vital NYC animal rescue and foster group. The leader of the organization sent this wonderful note:

"I can never thank you enough. In all the years we have never seen such an outpouring of support! I am teary eyed as I write this. Need to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming!"

They had closed their doors, but the your support helped them open again! Already one dog's rescue has been attributed (and hopefully, there will be many more). It's truly a miracle!
