- Lindsay's "highdeas" series is brilliant... "if you're new here, I used to do this thing all the time where I'd put up Highdeas. Highdeas are ideas that you come up with when you're stoned, or that sound like the person who came up with them was stoned." and of course, it's right up our alley. so it was very cool to see our submission (thought up by our friend Jason) show up... "the bacon bikini. You make a bikini out of strips of bacon, your girlfriend lies out in the sun and later you have a tasty snack."

- saw on the Gothamist that nominations for the Bloggy Awards are open from now until Monday. it looks like a cool way to give a shout out to your favorite blogs, and ones that work overtime to bring us great content (like the Gothamist!) and hey, if ya like this site and feel compelled you can throw in a word for us :-)
