happy again
couple weeks ago we noted a new store called Happy Happy Happy featuring dairy-free and gluten-free desserts and baked goods opening on Allen Street. yesterday we checked them out, and we're happy to report their desserts are DELICIOUS! we should preface this by saying we've never sought out gluten free desserts and were a bit skeptical about how they would taste - but they are WONDERFUL. we tried their homemade vanilla almond cake, mini chocolate cupcake (both pictured), and madelines. all were delicate, moist and rich in flavor. the vanilla almond cakes were especially heavenly with almost a marzipan like quality. they're just getting started and the assortment is a bit limited, but everything we tried so far was really yummy and well made. looking forward to more.
